Maintenance Millwright
Our client, global leader in the design, development and production of lightweight structures and propulsion systems for the automotive industry is recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Millwright and a Maintenance Electrician. . Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, these full-time positions would be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures. You work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties.

Industrial Millwright:
Responsibilities:
Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
Ensure operating safety devices function properly on the completion of repairs, modifications and installations
Sharpening and maintaining machine tools
Participating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on the machinery
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 1+ years relevant work experience
Millwright 433A certification
Knowledge of machine rigging procedures, machining, welding and presses
Able to read drawings and blue prints, specifications and manuals
Able to incorporate technical reports
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Working knowledge of equipment safety standards
Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
Able to work in a team environment
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Own Tools/Equipment : Steel-toed safety boots and tools as required

Qualifications
443A Millwright certification
. 3+ years of electrical industrial maintenance experience
. Experience with welding and stamping equipment is a requirement
. Experience with Presses would be highly desirable
. Read blueprints and technical documents
. Knowledgeable in PLC's, hydraulics and pneumatics
. Strong mechanical aptitude
. Above average mathematical skills
. Forklift license would be an asset.
. Dependable and detail oriented
. Highly developed multi-tasking skills
. Positive attitude and willingness to work!
Remuneration
$32.94/hr plus .43 for afternoons and . 53 for midnights with above average benefits
