Provides customer support in a call center.. This call center verifies eligibility for a VA program. This call center also triages crisis calls and routes as appropriate. Must be available for the following shift days/hours: Thur, Fri, Sat 5AM-5:30PM, Sunday 5AM-9AM
Education & Experience
o High school diploma or G.E.D.
o Military experience
o Honorable discharge from a military branch of service or
o Spouse or former spouse of military member
o 2+ years experience in an administrative, health care, managed care and/or customer service setting
o Knowledge of behavioral health benefits
o Prior experience in a customer service/call center environment
o Responds to inbound telephone queue calls on the Urgent Care Line. Check for eligibility.
o Triages calls and routes crisis calls, when appropriate.
o Makes outgoing calls for follow up purposes when appropriate.
o Enters data related to customer interactions into the medical management system for anonymous reporting purposes.
o Assists with staff training.
o Completes reports as assigned.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
