Process Engineer Job Summary

The chosen candidate will provide technical support for operations to ensure safety, cost, efficiency, and quality objectives are met. The chosen candidate will also investigate and develop technical solutions to create and achieve operational improvements. This position works to trial and industrialize new or modified cell designs to  position reports directly.

Process Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Providing technical support and optimizing all phases of cell manufacturing

• Carry out industrialization trials to optimize cell design

• Carry out cell and process development trials

• Provide technical support to quality teams during failure analysis and customer return investigations

• Provide technical support to new material qualification initiatives.

• Review and update engineering specifications and operating instructions

Process Engineer Job Requirements

• A B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in a related field

• Experience with cell electrochemistry, manufacturing processes similar to battery electrodes including: coating, welding, and small part assembly

• Ability to understand return on investment for operational improvement projects
