The Customer Service Representative reports to the Customer Support Manager, and is located in Fountain Valley, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Support Team member serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems. They attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services; they provide support to our corporate office, divisional offices, and Sales/Marketing by fielding incoming calls and emails from prospective and current B2B and B2C customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond to customer email and voicemail questions by understanding inquiry, reviewing previous inquiries and responses, gathering, and researching information, assembling, and forwarding information
  • Verify customer's understanding of information and answer
  • Record customer inquiries by documenting inquiry and response in customers' accounts
  • Improve quality service by recommending improved process and identifying new product and service applications
  • Communicate and coordinate with Product, Sales, and Marketing as necessary.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process, updating the FAQ/Help pages,
  • Provide excellent customer service to improve business performance
  • Understand customer requirements so as to provide appropriate clarification and solutions
  • Communicate with all TriMark divisions to ensure customers' requirements are met or exceeded
  • Route and direct customer requests to appropriate personnel
  • Contribute ideas to resolve customer problem to improve productivity
  • Deliver prompt and professional solutions for customer's inquiries via direct contact, phone, email, etc.
  • Maintain and update customer documentation as needed
  • Order parts and small equipment requested by customers
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a customer service environment
  • Previous foodservice industry experience
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
