Audit Specialist

Summary:

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Audit Specialist to join our innovative Accounting team in our Store Support Center in Nashville, TN. The Audit Specialist is responsible for auditing paperwork received from multiple store locations, verifying its consistency with system data, and interfacing with Operations and store management regarding inventory and sales paperwork, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Audits paperwork received from multiple store locations, ensuring system data is consistent with paperwork received.
• Processes received data accurately and timely.
• Interfaces with Operations and stores regarding required paperwork.
• Completes assigned tasks to ensure the accuracy of overall retail site paperwork.
• Completes paperwork on a timely basis according to guidelines established by the Accounting & Finance department.
• Fills in and supports other team members as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of prior corporate accounting experience.
• Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail environment.
