KGMB LLC, d/b/a Treehouse is Santa Cruz Counties premier cannabis dispensary with locations in Soquel and a future location opening in Capitola. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to manage social media, in-store events, external events, advertising and promotional efforts to bring in new guests and engage existing guests.
The Marketing Manager’s responsibilities will include taking steps to measure and enhance Treehouse’s reputation and image. This is a job for an experienced marketer with experience in retail, product and/or cannabis marketing. This position will report to the General Manager and manage our graphic designer, internal events coordinator, and brand ambassador(s).
Specific responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Help develop and manage marketing strategies to effectively achieve the goals of Treehouse and its partners.
Support and coordinate the activities of outside marketing agencies, designers, and other contractors engaged in promoting our brands.
Develop innovative and creative content for social media platforms
Work within brand guidelines and collaborate with graphic designers to ensure a cohesive identity
Propose creative strategies for customer acquisition in collaboration with GM.
Perform all marketing work in line with strict compliance guidelines; manage all marketing collateral to ensure it is in compliance with the state and local agencies.
Identify relevant events for the brand to have a presence at
Create all collateral materials for event promotions
Market patient and customer education events
Create posts - graphic, photo & video
Maintain relevant social media accounts
Setup daily tasks and activity for all social media outlets
Keep track of marketing trends for the cannabis industry and Santa Cruz market
Manage website and regularly update website content
Manage SEO and SEM
Manage and write email newsletters
Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for social media accounts, website and any trackable marketing tactics
Prepare and adhere to budgets.
Ensure brand messages are consistent across all tactics and campaigns
Gather and analyze customer insight
Manage and organize all creative assets
Write copy as necessary for marketing tactics
Deepen relationships with all marketing related contacts to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the organization
Support the dispensaries’ strategic alliances and partnerships
Coordinate with CEO, GM, Dispensary Managers and other executives and marketing partners
Manage and ensure objectives and tasks of events coordinator and brand ambassadors are done on time, correctly, and on or under budget.

Minimum age of 21 years
3+ Years Marketing experience preferred
Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts
Able to make creative suggestions in the interest of the organization
Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence
On time and prepared
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
Knowledge of cannabis

Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in order to manage the diverse tasks and interact with the varied constituencies involved in the organization.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) for email, budgeting, and reporting. Familiar with Social Media Platforms. Proficient in graphic design platforms.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance.
Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various locations where project is implemented. Travel may be required on a local, regional, or national level for project implementation, project activities or attend conferences related to the projects.
