To provide value-added analysis, insights, and financial support for the key business partners within bottling operations, procurement, and ‘regional supply services’ (RSS) function, focused on logistics, warehousing.
As a guide, logistics includes production freight (finished goods and dry goods associated with production bottling), bulk wine freight (intra winery and to bottling), import landed costs, distributor freight.
Prepare clear, concise, comprehensive, and forward-looking analyses of options and scenarios that support and influence the strategic direction and tactical decisions for the business and the Supply Chain Network
Effective working in a matrix environment, partnering with multiple stakeholders to analyze cost drivers to identify current and emerging risks and opportunities and provide appropriate recommendations
Excellent verbal and written skills demonstrating the ability to articulate quantitative and qualitative results/findings and convey effective solutions.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently, manage/review projects, perform ad hoc and structured analysis. Review and analysis of financial results ensuring integrity of P&L and balance sheet
Prepare and continuously improve the Monthly/Annual Budgeting, Forecasting, and Strategic Planning processes and tools and the resulting reporting packs for Packaging, Logistics, and RSS management
Develop ways of working and liaising with Global Business Service teams to ensure efficient and quality outcomes building sustainable long-term relationships
Proactively participate in Supply Chain management team meetings and planning sessions, providing input, direction and challenge.
Accumulation and modelling of baseline data for network and service modelling which drives continuous improvement opportunities and reporting
Provide business case justification for capital expenditure justifications for Bottling, Material Planning, Logistics, and Warehousing.
Develop recovery/absorption rates for standard cost setting
Accept coaching and direction from manager. Solicit and act on feedback from manager, peers, & undertake organization training and development as required.
BS/BA in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related analytical discipline
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
Commercial experience in a Packaging, Operations, or Logistic industry preferred
Exceptionally strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
Capability to communicate effectively and interact at all levels to drive participation and partnership across a geographically diversified cross functional group of colleagues
Passion, energy and enthusiasm to drive results with a team-oriented approach; must be self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
