As a Senior Business Analyst for our Supply business, you will have full ownership and accountability for working with stakeholders from cross-functional teams to develop and deliver complex strategic initiatives and projects. This role will support development of enterprise analytics solutions across diverse applications within our Supply business, and identify opportunities to leverage innovative technologies and best practices while supporting multiple software applications utilized by teams in their day-to-day duties.
Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiations
Lead strategic and complex projects from initiation to completion
Research and analyze best-in-class technology as an ongoing project to benchmark our suite of tools and systems against industry and non-industry leaders
Plan and scope inter-related initiatives and help senior-level stakeholders make informed decisions about which initiatives to tackle and how to tackle them
Maintain a deep awareness of how the business operation works and help the stakeholders explore technology possibilities to more effectively execute their roles
Transfer of knowledge related to support of applications to BAU team
You are self-motivated with a strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools, JD Edwards (or other ERP systems) and reporting solutions. You are collaborative and able to manage multiple projects and priorities, from gathering and compiling business requirements, developing functional and non-functional specifications and user acceptance testing.
You have 4 plus years of experience in project management and/or business analysis (preferably in a consumer-packaged goods, agriculture, food or adult beverage industry).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related discipline (or equivalent years of experience)
4+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis
Experience in wine, agricultural, food and beverage or related industry
Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools, JD Edwards (or other similar ERP systems), and reporting solutions
Familiarity with Informance, Ignition, DSI, vinoEZ and AgCode a plus
Demonstrated ability to gather and compile business requirements, develop functional and non-functional specifications and develop user acceptance testing procedures
Demonstrated ability to manage special projects and business issues effectively and efficiently
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to facilitate team meetings
Knowledge of process modeling and project management
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of database, network and other technologies
Knowledge of project management and/or business analysis methodologies
