(TMMTX) San Antonio, Texas Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. is located in San Antonio, Texas. The plant was established in October 2003 and production started in November 2006 at the 2,000 acre site where we produce the Tundra and Tacoma pick-up trucks. We employ 3,000 salaried and hourly employees with 21 suppliers located on-site that employ an additional 3,100 employees. Our manufacturing operations include Stamping, Body Weld, Assembly, Paint and Plastics. Tool & Die SKILLED TEAM MEMBER Tool & Die Skilled Team Members repair and maintain manufacturing equipment in Tool and Die Maintenance. Must be able to work rotating twelve hour shifts. Must be able to work weekends. Key responsibilities may include: Working in a diverse team towards a common goal Adjusting to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment Problem solving and continuously improving safety, quality and productivity Key Responsibilities for Tool & Die Maintenance Working in a diverse team towards a common goal Adjusting to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment Problem solving and continuously improving safety, quality and productivity Perform preventative maintenance on stamping dies according to standardized procedures. Perform machining and fabricating on stamping dies for repair or improvement. Troubleshooting die performance in stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issues Qualifications - External Ability to weld and hand grind tool steels to meet die specifications. Ability to read die drawings and able to create drawings for improvement. Preferred experience with A class exposed surface panels. Requirements: Completion of Tool & Die or Mold making training program or relevant work experience Understanding of Thermoplastic Injection molding and/or progressive stamping process .
