Who we're looking for Toyota's Vehicle Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Sr. Analyst - Financial Modeling & Analytics. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce relevant and rigorous reporting through Business Intelligence, on the financial performance of the Toyota North America Team Member and Affiliated Company Vehicle Lease programs and to ensure established lease pricing structure, residual value, operating expense, costs drivers, on-going program subsidy, and recoveries are accurate and acceptable to all participating Affiliated companies. Reporting to the NA Vehicle Services Portfolio/Admin Manager, the person in this role will support the Vehicle Services department's objective to provide a highly valuable lease vehicle benefit to team members at a reasonable cost to Toyota. What you'll be doing Monitor, review and validate source systems, financial data and business processes to accurately capture relevant information in order to assess inputs, assumptions, calculations and outputs of the Lease Pricing models as designed and recommend adjustments as necessary. Evaluate the program P&L statement (by portfolio segments) provided by the program BI solution Compare actual results against budget plan and escalate variances requiring management attention Create dynamic Excel financial models to present to NA Vehicle Services Management Prepare and adjust programs' financial projections to present to NA Automotive Finance and participating companies as necessary for budgeting purposes Conduct periodic financial reconciliation to confirm transfer of funds between affiliates using department accounting integration hub and General Ledger reviews Review individual transactions by account and confirm payments and receipts are working as intended Recommend program parameters for future periods by: Preparing scenarios evaluating different parameter settings for future program year(s) Presenting recommendations to management regarding financial adjustment to the program Work in partnership with the Business Intelligence and/or BSS departments to ensure ongoing development and governance of the BI tool meets NA Vehicle Services data, processes and system requirements Support and maintain the overall analytical and business intelligence capabilities for the new business model (NOM) Leasing programs rollout, and serve as the BI Business Lead for NA Vehicle Services Develop analyses or reports on relevant operating and financial metrics; trends; and performance indicators in an easy-to-understand format using the Business Intelligence (BI) tool for management (i.e. financial dashboard, etc.) as monitoring tools Work in partnership with TFS Finance and Pricing to gain forward looking guidance as residual values and interest rates rise/fall, and develop Pricing models adjustments to maintain the best balance of costs sharing between the team members and participating companies Work in partnership with NA Automotive Accounting on the ongoing development and governance of the Accounting Integration Hub (AIH) business rules. Ensure the AIH meets the needs of Accounting and Financial Reporting, as well as providing the adequate internal controls needed for Accounting and SOX purposes. Support NA Automotive Accounting and Vehicle Services as we convert our financial systems from PeopleSoft to SAP. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline, or equivalent professional work experience? Strong financial forecasting and accounting systems experience required Must possess first rate analytical skills, and ability to leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tool Solid business acumen and process oriented High degree of business partnering skills and ability to influence others at all levels Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Must have a strong presence and have demonstrated track record of success Added bonus if you have Demonstrated ability to understand and apply accounting principles, FASB rules and regulations, and SOX a plus MBA/CPA with technical or financial undergraduate degree highly desired Corporate Finance and/or Leasing work experience preferred Exceptional Financial modeling skills preferred What we'll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
