POSITION SUMMARY Seeking a reliable Business Development Center Representative/ Accessory Coordinator who enjoys customer contact!

You will be responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company's service goals. Your role will be to drive traffic through answering incoming sales calls, making outbound calls, as well as working with third party vendors to install accessories for newly sold vehicles. Duties include:

  • Coordinate and schedule new car accessories and be the main point of contact to all third party vendors.
  • Consistently maintaining daily, weekly and monthly goals which corresponds to the objectives of the dealership and your individual performance
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, time management and the ability to multi-task
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of schedules of service advisor and management
  • Maintaining and enforcing good housekeeping such as no food in work areas
  • Perform standard BDC job duties as required for all BDC staff members:
  • Ensuring that all calls presented are answered promptly and professionally
  • Following the BDC scripts and guidelines on all inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Developing proficiency with all features of the BDC software’s (Tekion, CDK, Google Drive, Dealer Daily, Smart VMA, Excel/Google spreadsheets)
  • Ensuring that all information entered into BDC software is consistent and accurate
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of coupons, direct mail pieces and all service advertisements
  • Consistently meeting the guidelines set for number of set appointments, shows and inbound/outbound calls to be made daily
  • Follow up with clients who are overdue for service
  • Respond to customers’ emails and chats
  • Update daily/nightly reports based on incoming & outgoing service calls
  • Demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with dealer personnel at all levels
  • Maintaining a professional code of conduct at all times
  • Perform general administrative and support staff duties as assigned

IDEAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be reliable and manage time effectively
  • Must work 1 weekend day of your choice
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Has a passion for customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively with a flexible and adaptable personality who learns quickly
  • Personal characteristics should include: high integrity, innovative thinker, team player, and enthusiastically positive, flexible
  • Prior new-car accessory coordinator experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaker would be ideal, but will consider all
