Job Description:
The Town of Barnstable is looking to employ Seasonal Parking Resource Officers. This is a UNIFORMED POSITION REQUIRED TO WORK VARIOUS SHIFTS DURING DAYS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
The PRO operates a motor vehicle in a variety of conditions, may be assigned to foot patrol. Monitors and contributes towards parking management, enforcement (such as issuance of warning and/or parking citations) and education on Town properties including beaches, villages, and boat ramps; assists manager to ensure parking compliance with policies, procedures and standards through observation at assigned patrol areas.
Two years of education above high school (preferred). Applicant must have a valid MA driver's license, and acceptable driving record. Proficient in use of smart phones and applications.
$19.75 hourly, no benefits.
