Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing Certification as a registered nurse (RN) 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures This position requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications This position is for 3-11 shift with rotation if needed Prior supervisory experience required Critical care experience required This position will also require weekend and holiday rotation Registered Nurse: ICU: to apply, visit: careers.towerhealth.org keyword search: Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit at Jennersville Hospital Responsibilities: A Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivery of patient (direct and indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing. One year previous Critical Care experience preferred. Licensed and currently registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Valid American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification required Completion of the Dysrhythmia course within six (6) months of hire Completion of the ACLS (American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider) course within one (1) year of hire and continuous renewal every two (2) years Successful completion of the Critical Care course within one (1) year of hire Employment Type: Full Time
