Job Description

We are excited to be starting our 10th year in business providing exceptional care and companionship to local adults and seniors living throughout Butler and Warren Counties and the surrounding areas! And, we are looking forward to the opportunity to offer an additional leadership position to someone who is looking forward to a chance to grow alongside our organization. This individual must be laser-focused on his or her own growth and development both personally and professionally, and he or she must be devoted to the caring aspect of our industry, as well as, the opportunity to offer meaningful employment to others with a heart for caring! 

Experience providing care for older adults is desirable, but not a requirement. This position reports directly to the agency owner and requires availability for "on-call" client care coverage and phone coverage on select holidays throughout the year, and at least one week per month or more as needed/desired. This opportunity and requirement come with additional compensation and bonuses!  As much as 50% of the position on average may be providing direct care to clients. The position is hourly with starting pay ranging from $13-16/hr. The pay rate is expected to grow as competency with the position is demonstrated, and there is potential for the position to develop into an exempt/salaried position in the range of $35,000-$40,0000/ yr to start with specialization in scheduling or training.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing both client and caregiver schedules
  • Maintaining the goal of minimizing overtime and additional staffing costs
  • Implementing, scheduling, and monitoring online and in-person training and orientation
  • Provide client care as needed during care team shortages, vacations, and urgent care requests
  • Communicating effectively with the owner, director, recruiting specialist, and care managers regarding any scheduling deficits and concerns.
  • Manage client relationships, balancing basic needs with creative and fun ways to make memorable experiences
  • Be proficient with various web-based programs including our scheduling system, HR system, text system, and Google Drive/Google Mail
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team on a regular basis, both verbally and in writing
  • Identify and lead improvements to current processes
  • Support care team in problem-solving and task completion
  • Answer phones and assist callers as needed
  • Perform various administrative tasks to include document scanning, electronic filing, printing, ordering supplies, and maintaining supply items in client homes
