Pharmacy Technician Certified

Looking for a great non-retail Pharmacy Tech position. Apply now for an office role working Prior Authorizations with a great team. The Role requires both National and State license. Please do not apply if you do not have both (we do not currently accept training license)

MUST HAVE

• Arizona State Pharm Tech License
• National Pharm Tech Certificate (PTCB Certification)
• 1+ yeas of Pharmacy Tech Experience
• High school Diploma
• Pharmacy Retail Experience is preferred (Example – Walgreens, Walmart, CVS)

Position Purpose: Track and triage all coverage determination requests for prior authorizations and Medicare Part D recipients

• Track and triage coverage determination requests submitted from providers and determine if a pharmacist review is required
• Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers
• Approve coverage determination requests based on defined criteria
• Enter and document coverage determination request decision into the PBM system and notify providers and/or members
• Respond to client inquiries regarding authorization approvals and PBM on-line applications

Start date – Asap

Pay - $17-18/hr

Hours –M-F - 8-5 during training - after training they spread them out to different start times (8a – 9p) – candidate gets three choices and they get to pick the sift they need

Terms –contract to hire

Training - two week training period in office
