Accommodation Intake Partner manages inbound calls within the RA call center for majority of the shift; balances remainder of the day by managing the documentation intake process with colleagues to ensure timely case management of the reasonable accommodations
Experience with ADAAA, understanding of FMLA, and similar state regulations. Ability to handle sensitive conversations with colleagues in inbound call center environment which may entail matters with challenging callers or challenging topics while maintaining confidentiality. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have multitasking skills to manage inbound and outbound calls while documenting information received and handling case tasks which may include sending letters to colleagues who have disengaged from the interactive process. Use of a case management system for all steps in the process is required, so prior use of case management software is recommended.
Recommended experience in administering reasonable accommodation requests and an understanding of ADAAA Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) requirements. Discretion in dealing with confidential information. Call Center HR related experience preferred.
