What you’ll be doing: 

  • Assists General Manager in making sure restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the company’s fiscal and operational guidelines
  • Develops initiatives to build sales, profitability, and guest check average
  • Ensures adherence to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensures established standards of food safety, sanitation and quality are maintained
  • Ensures all reports, documentation, and other information required by support office departments are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensures secure, safe handling, and transportation of funds
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all recipes, products, and production procedures
  • Purchases food products within established guidelines. Oversees correct invoicing, storage, and sealing of food products to ensure quality and freshness at all times
  • Responds to guest’s comments and criticism in a constructive and positive manner
  • Responsible for restaurant P&L performance
  • Responsible for the physical/aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant
  • Utilizes the secret shopper and any other media programs to develop guest oriented quality, service, and cleanliness action plans to enhance guest service

QUE-SO…here’s what you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-4 years of restaurant management (including full service, fast food, or convenience) preferred
  • TABC and Manager Food Certification
  • Must have knowledge of food handling/HACCP techniques
  • Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, able to work flexible hours necessary to manage, and operate the restaurant effectively
  • Bi-lingual proficiency desired
  • Competency of basic computer functions
