Optician

Tolland Eye Care has been serving Northeast Connecticut for over a decade!    We now have an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Optician or experienced Frame Stylist.

The Optician / Frame Stylist assists and educates patients with their selection of eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinate with the patient to find the best eyewear fit and choice for their lifestyle.
2. Place orders to maintain inventory.
3. Lens edging, lab finishing, and dispensing.
4. Repairs and adjustments for eyeglasses.
5. Troubleshoot eyewear issues.
6. Arrange and maintain displays of optical merchandise.
7. Perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, and submitting patient insurance information.

Strong attention to detail required.  Optical sales experience preferred.

37 1/2 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday, with some early evenings and 1/2 day on Saturday.
