Time + Basil is a sales and consulting company that works with larger clients across the US and Canada. We're sought out by larger corporations to increase sales, brand recognition, and market share. Our primary focus is on business to business. We're experts in acquiring new business accounts, retaining existing accounts, and acting as a liaison between our client and their customer.
With recent success, we've acquired a new client and need to grow to keep up with demand. We're filling entry level roles in our sales department. Role includes (but not limited to): sales, customer service, teamwork, and entry-level territory management.
Sales Rep Responsibilities:
- Shadow and learn from a mentor within the company
- Business to business sales
- Acquire new sales accounts and retain existing sales accounts
- Partake in daily meetings
- Act as the face of our client - provide information, solve issues, and create positive brand association
At Time + Basil, our mentor-mentee training has proven to be effective. With newer employees paired with seasoned team members, we're able to provide top training and development to every new employee. Our one on one approach allows learning to be tailored around the individual. Our team is unique - so is our training. With a simple sales system and guidelines, we're able to lay a solid foundation for success. Those who quickly master initial sales training are offered the opportunity to join our social media marketing team and/or philanthropy team.
Social Media Marketing Team: Create content for our social media accounts, emails, website, and promotional materials. Work closely with management to assess marketing needs and brainstorm creative solutions. Increase brand recognition to appeal to clients and the community alike.
Philanthropy Team: Help us give back to the global community! Research and plan events, fundraisers, and team activities to give back. Philanthropy team is responsible for conception, planning/organizing, creating promotional materials, and advertising our philanthropy events to our team, clients, and the community.
Sales Reps are responsible for attending meetings on a daily basis to cover company goals, progress, new client information, and any important information regarding new or existing campaigns. They are also in charge of customer retention and acquisitions for our clients. Top performers have the opportunity to join our social media marketing team and/or philanthropy team. We provide training for all newly hired team members to cover all tasks necessary for success in our office! Past experience gives a candidate a competitive edge but is not 100% mandatory.
Sales Rep Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (in progress for interns is acceptable)
- People skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work Monday through Friday

We're only filling an ENTRY LEVEL role, however, there is opportunity for growth for top performers. We cross train in areas of Human Resources, Business Management, Administration, Market Management, and Operations. Top performers have the option to join our social media marketing team and/or philanthropy team.
