The Inside Sales Representative’s role consists of building strong and long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers by maintaining frequent communication and follow-up via email, phone, and online presentations. This role is responsible for the complete sales cycle and lead generation, focusing on generating new business. Additionally, this role will serve our current customer base as a key point of contact for product and service inquiries, price quotations, and agreement changes and adjustments to maximize customer retention. As the Inside Sales Representative, you will partner with internal teams for all sales transactions to ensure a seamless and outstanding customer experience.

  • The starting base salary is $50,000 to $60,000, plus uncapped monthly sales commissions and incentives - minimum compensation target of $80,000+ annually.
  • 3-Month "Ramp Up" Period - Month 1: 60% of the Monthly Quota Commission Paid, Month 2: 40%, Month 3: 20%
  • Equipment Provided - Laptop/Tablet, monitors, cell phone, office phone, etc.
  • Work Schedule - Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm PST
  • Location - Fully Remote


  • Utilizing sales skills and experience to prospect for new business leads while effectively and efficiently managing the sales pipeline.
  • Answering customer product and service inquiries, identifying new business opportunities among potential and existing customers, preparing sales quotations, and maintaining consistent client communications.
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted partner to customers to build and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Assisting the Accounts and Operations teams with sales and operational processes.
  • Pro-actively contacting customers regularly to schedule meetings, and follow-up on sales quotes, orders, or inquiries.
  • Regularly engaging with customers to ensure customer understanding of Tilt provided products and services to maximize customer utilization of our services.
  • Listening to, and evaluating customer needs, to make meaningful solution recommendations.
  • Developing and maintaining expertise of Tilt provided products and services.
  • Providing after-sales communication and follow-ups to enhance customer dedication.
  • Generating new business within existing customer base with marketing campaigns (vendor sales promotions, regulation changes, etc.)
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Responsible for keeping current customers satisfied by delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Effectively manage and communicate expectations and timelines.
  • Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the marketplace.
  • Generating relevant sales reports.

  • Serving customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and if local with in-person meetings.
  • Partnering with cross-functional internal teams such as the Operations, Finance, and Administrative departments.
  • Enhancing department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and varying requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Ensuring every interaction aligns with Tilt’s Mission Statement, Vision, and Core Values.
  • Resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Abiding by Tilt Technology policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Has 3+ years of sales experience in a Healthcare (EHR/PM) Software Sales related field (required).
  • Experience in lead generation and prospecting (required).
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Health Record or Practice Management Software preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding of full sales cycle.
  • Has an engaging, outgoing personality with a passion for serving others.
  • Has CRM use experience.
  • Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new concepts and applications quickly.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Has keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed in a remote (home office) environment.
  • Experience working in a remote office environment, with a work environment free of distractions.
  • Knowledge and experience with Social Media platforms, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint presentations, and scheduling meetings.
  • Exceptionally strong work ethic, self-motivated, and metric-oriented.
  • Documented record of sales achievements.
  • Excellent prospecting, negotiating, and closing skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess current US work authorization.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
