What you will do:

The Employee Services Coordinator role is responsible for providing outstanding service and comprehensive support to TCCA employees with strong emphasis on employee advocacy and solution-oriented customer approach. This role is responsible for working with key stakeholders in the organization, specifically the People & Culture Leadership team with direct support of the Regional Employee Services Manager supporting TCCA’s corporate functions.

 

Key duties of this role are widely varied with the opportunity to build cross functional relationships across the organization. The role manages a multitude of both administrative and other, higher-level support functions including employee pre-boarding processes, HRIS system input, company management training event support, intern program support. Additionally, the role will support key initiatives in respective areas of the business, such as open enrollment, annual reviews, tactical payroll support, etc. 

Here’s a day in the life:

  • Provides basic administrative support, i.e. calendar maintenance, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports, open and distribute mail, draft communications and presentations, etc.

  • Maintain common knowledge of HR FAQ to respond appropriately to questions from supported areas of business.

  • Manage employee pre-boarding process including communicating with new hires.

  • Support employee separations processes: request final pays, send separation notices, etc.

  • Support Intern strategy creation and daily processes.

  • Act as back up work with receptionist to ensure key meetings are successful: refreshments, set up, clean up, etc.

  • Answers employee and applicant inquiries by exercising considerable judgment and discretion in handling telephone calls and emails, routing them to others or responding on own initiative when appropriate.

  • Act as back up support for recruitment function, including scheduling interviews, applicant reimbursements, etc. 

  • Support annual processes related to Performance Management including review of assigned area(s) appraisals and follow-up with managers/associates regarding timelines.

  • Ulti-Pro data ownership for assigned functions.

  • Provide administrative support for the Regional Employee Services Manager.

Skills you’ll need:

High School Diploma; Associates Degree preferred.

2-4 years previous administrative experience and/or experience in an HR role.

Previous experience with giving presentations to small groups.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook.

Strong customer service orientation.
