PART-TIME COLLECTiONS REPRESENTATIVE

Tidewater Finance Company, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia has part-time positions available for Collections Representatives.  We provide diverse lending solutions for our dealer network while promoting employee integrity, teamwork and an uncompromised level of customer service.

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year collections experience in a call center environment 
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Proficient typing skills
• Automatic dialer experience a plus
• Strong negotiation skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Employee will have access to personal identifiable information (PII) and business confidential information
• Make and receive calls through automated dialer
• Accept payments on past due accounts
• Handle customer service related issues
• Process related paperwork
• Adherence to company policies and procedures in addition to compliance of state and federal regulations
• Other duties as assigned

The standard hours for this part-time position are:

• Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
