Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care seeks a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join our National Resource Center (NRC) team in Wakefield, MA as an Office Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of NRC office operations. You will have an opportunity to explore the ins and outs of the core operations of our business by being responsible for the administrative and management support at the NRC, including to members of the senior management team and NRC functional areas (Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, Technology, Recruitment, Communications, Clinical Operations).

You will initially begin your journey in our National Resource Center in Wakefield, MA and will work closely with an advisor/mentor who will help you acclimate to the role and the organization. Once you have demonstrated proficiency in your role as an Office Administrator, your advisor/mentor will work with you to identify another role at the NRC or in any of our 10 states that best meets your skills and goals.
Our ideal candidate has:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
  • Previous job-related experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated, and accurate.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously.
Job Duties:
  • Provides support and interacts with all levels of management, teammates, and outside partners with professionalism, tact, discretion, and confidentiality. Uses independent thought, judgement, and discretion in executing all duties.
  • Responsible for providing administrative and management support at the NRC, including to members of the senior management team and NRC functional areas (Human Resources, Finance/Accounting, Technology, Recruitment, Communications, Clinical Operations)
  • Independently handles a variety of routine and special projects from start to finish with minimal guidance. Collaborates with management and other team members.
  • Schedules various meetings and coordinates related logistics (e.g., meeting invites, meeting materials, room set-up, lunch/dinner arrangements) such as Senior Management Team (SMT) and Board of Director meetings and quarterly webinars. Identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting of SMT members, as requested.
  • Prepares, organizes, updates and maintains documents, forms, logs, policies, databases, minutes, and files. Ensures paper or electronic information is filed accurately in an easy to retrieve and organized system. May review files or paperwork for completeness, such as signatures and dates.
  • Deals discretely with highly sensitive and confidential communications concerning staff, department, and organization matters.
  • Serve as liaison to building management regarding building/suite access, fitness waivers, work orders, and cascading pertinent building or property updates to team members.
  • Maintains office in a neat and organized fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
