Mid-sized company is currently hiring an Accounting Assistant/Clerk. This is a full time position with office hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Some overtime will be required at the end of each quarter. This position is being offered as a permanent opportunity within the company and will provide full benefits after a 60 day probationary period. The starting pay is up to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and works closely with accounts receivable team leaders, the payables department as well as payroll when needed. Applicants must be organized, efficient and comfortable working closely with coworkers, management and business clients.
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing basic invoices through company operating system. Generate invoices, email or prepare for mailing. Update client billing information if needed. Run monthly auto payments and send receipt/invoice showing paid in full to client accounting department via email. Generate weekly and monthly reports for delinquent accounts for collections specialist. Data Entry, clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
