Bartender at Thousand Hills Deep Ellum

Land Of A Thousand Hills Coffee in Dallas, TX is looking for one bartender to join our team. We are located at 2900 Canton Street Suite 130. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Be willing to undergo basic barista training to handle coffee service when necessary

Qualifications

• Must be TABC & Food Handler certified prior to employment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No bartending experience necessary
• At least 2+ years of service industry experience
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

The shifts & hours available for this position are primarily afternoon & evening, between 12PM & 9PM, Monday-Sunday, 15-35 hours a week. Weekends are rotated, and therefore, required as part of your availability (this means you will not be working every weekend if not desired).

Compensation range is $11/hr-$15/hr + tips, and will be negotiable based on experience and skill.

Please do not apply if your availability does not fall between the hours of 12PM & 9PM. Some weekends required.
