ThoroughCare is looking to hire an experienced and ambitious Content Writer to oversee the development, execution, and delivery of digital content through the company's website and blog. Core responsibilities will include creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include raising brand awareness through content and monitoring website traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As a Content Writer, you should perform well under deadlines, be detail-oriented, and have experience working independently. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, we would like to meet you.

This position is full-time and available immediately. Benefits include health/life/disability benefits, paid vacation, retirement planning (401k), and career advancement opportunities. Onsite placement for this position is preferred, however working remotely (US-based only) is possible with this position.


  • Accountable for content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
  • Expected to publish 2 blog posts a week
  • Possess a brand publisher mindset, where you'll create content our audience is looking for and optimize their path to sales conversion
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
  • Ability to adapt writing style so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Measurement and optimization of content performance on a regular and ongoing basis

  • BA/BS in Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent working experience
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Experience creating content in the digital marketing arena (blogging, social media, email, and website)
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what clinical audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze content analytics and performance
  • Project management skills and understanding of how to manage priorities in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales
  • Experience with HubSpot, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and top social channels is a plus
  • Clinical background and/or healthcare knowledge or experience is a significant plus
