Thomas Printworks is searching for a friendly and energetic person to create a remarkable client experience at our front counter. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, fast learner with a 'can do', positive, and cheerful attitude to join a stable company. You must be efficient, capable of multitasking, and possess the ability to apply your experience and knowledge to new and changing situations. The successful candidate will be a multitasker and possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Must be a good listener, problem-solver, and have a passion for working with clients. This is a First Impression Associate position based out of our Maitland, Florida location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a smile within six seconds of their entrance.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to proper departments.
  • Assist customers in placing orders by obtaining job specifications and preparing complete and accurate work order forms.
  • Logs in all work orders received at the front counter and distributes to the appropriate department.
  • Invoice jobs as work completed.
  • Answer customer questions and service options and pricing by using samples and suggest. additional value-added services such as paper, binding, and other options.
  • Negotiate due times with customer and production department.
  • Announce visitors to other staff members.
  • Call customers to notify project completion.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problematic orders and customer complaints.
  • Accepts payment for work by cash, check, credit card or account.
  • Opens, utilizes, and reconciles cash drawer daily.
  • Reconciles credit card machine at the end of each business day.
  • Completes related paperwork including invoice deletes, credit memos, and customer information changes.
  • Prepares small to mid-size quotes for customers.
  • Starts the computer update at the end of each business day.
  • Communicate with other departments on projects that involve special needs: stock, material, rush project.
  • Other duties as assigned.
