Non-CDL Box Truck Driver

Salary: $20-$21 per hour (shift differential)

Summary

As the Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you will follow safe driving practices while maintaining a just in time (JIT) sensitive schedule to keep our locations supplied. Scope of the position will include pick-up and delivery of both raw materials and finished goods between manufacturing and warehouse facilities, proper inventory management between sites, material identification, operation of forklifts, etc.

1st Shift: 6:55am - 3:10pm ($20/hr.)

3rd Shift: 10:55pm - 7:10am ($21/hr.)

 

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Reviews facility orders for updates in material demand and adhere to a defined delivery route.
• Comply with all safety rules and policies
• Conduct inspections of vehicle prior to starting and ending shift
• Follow delivery driving route and time schedules
• Load and unload delivery vehicle by use of forklift or hand jack
• Other duties as assigned in Management’s sole discretion

 

 Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, IQMS, Outlook)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

 

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work overtime when required by management
• Must have flexible working schedule to support production
• Standing/sitting for sustained periods to time

 

Required Licensing/Certifications

• Forklift Certification
• Must have Class C License before start date
• Must have DOT Medical Card
• Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT Requirement)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 5 panel drug screening
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
