Who We're Looking for:

We are looking for a self-starting, motivated, hands-on, data-driven Director of Lifecycle Marketing to join our Customer Experience team.

This person will work with a cross functional team to drive the strategy and execution of our email / SMS / push strategy across all phases of the customer experience. Using a combination of customer data and creativity, the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing will set the strategy, plan and execute email marketing and SMS campaigns related to promotions, education, retention, and automations. Additionally this person will be responsible for creating the infrastructure to effectively communicate with our customers throughout the journey of acquiring and using our products.

The ideal candidate will have great cross-functional experience, a proven track record of practical execution, superior analytical skills and the ability to optimize projects in real time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, create and communicate an overarching and coordinated email strategy which incorporates company revenue goals and initiatives , rolling up your sleeves and flexing into tactical execution as needed
  • Work with cross-functional team to conceptualize and implement promotional emails, automated flows, and other D2C campaigns as needed including optimization plans relating to A/B tests, subject lines, template creation, and more
  • Build and manage reports and dashboards to socialize key insights and takeaways across the business
  • Design and implement an SMS strategy to complement existing channels with push strategies to follow
  • Identify opportunities to personalize the customer journey, including optimal time/channel recommendations that lead to stronger customer education, engagement and retention
  • Provide thought leadership for all things life-cycle marketing and partner with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, customer support, and product teams to create feedback loops and deliver the best customer experience across touch-points

The Right Person Would Have:
  • 5+ years; experience in Consumer Marketing, lifecycle management, and email / sms marketing and able to flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience using customer insights (qual and quant) to inform business strategy and day-to-day decision-making
  • Strong analytical approach to understanding customer behavior and assessing opportunities, as well as understanding campaign performance and driving ongoing testing and optimization
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Rigor about using data and insights to improve the customer experience across every stage of the life cycle, working closely with teams across the business to make it happen
  • Internal motivation to enjoy working independently, as well as collaboratively, in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience developing actionable creative briefs and providing constructive feedback on designs
  • Passion for data, with a love of creativity; Attention to detail, with a propensity for action
