Thentia has successfully moved to a hybrid working model. Incumbents must reside in Oklahoma City area and be in the office no less than 2 days per week.

About the role:

Business Analysts for the R&D / Product Development team facilitate the transformation of business objectives into technical language. You help bridge the gap between by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating the requirements among all the stakeholders of the project. You will also help transition the team from hybrid toward agile development, by documenting the artifacts and processes that the team designs. 

After consulting with the business and documenting use cases, test cases, etc, you become our internal “expert” on Thentia’s platform and work with other areas of the business to educate and support understanding about the platform. In order to do so, you must develop a deep understanding of our clients, the platform, and internal teams. You must have excellent communication, and analytical skills, and have experience transforming business objectives into products.

Understanding of and experience in regulatory environments (specifically professional regulation) is very helpful for success in this role. Understanding licensing processes and procedures is extremely beneficial to this role.


  • Independently perform requirements elicitation techniques to gather information from the project stakeholdersand properly document business and solution requirements and other pertinent documents
  • Study, understand and do in-depth analysis of the platforms capabilities and processes which includes capturing business scenarios, and what-ifs in order to provide solutions and recommendations
  • Gain a firm knowledge of the modules, features, processes, and capabilities of the company’s product
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to efficiently map requirements that improve client efficiency and meet the regulatory requirements of the organization
  • Communicate and create visual representations of our product that represents the workflows using tools like Balsamiq and Lucid Chart as well as through business models using UML diagram
  • Plan and facilitate requirements meeting
  • Translate business needs into use cases, test cases, and other relevant documentation to facilitate speed to delivery and high quality products
  • Document and share team metrics with the Product Team as needed


  • Must have education, experience or training in the field of Business Analysis/Business System Analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and at least 2 years’ experience working in Agile methodology.
  • Regulatory experience and technical knowledge are a plus
  • Knowledge and experience writing various forms of requirements documentation such as Use Cases, User Stories, UML Diagrams, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work well with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable in a remote first work environment
  • Familiarity with the Office 365 suite, WRIKE, Lucidchart, and Sharepoint, wireframing tools such as Figma
