JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for day-to-day accounting at the property level. Job will include dailyaccounting and administrative duties for the property and any other properties to facilitate the accounting andadministrative workflow. Human resource and administrative tasks as required and needed. Travel to other propertiesrequired as necessary.

JOB DUTIES

1. Daily Income Audits - Review postings of PMS and POS to ensure accuracy. Daily review and distributionof revenue report. Ensure credit card transmissions have been balanced by front desk/night audit.

2. General Cashier - Ensure cash is deposited daily or semi-weekly from daily drops. Process change orders anddeposits of A/R and tenant checks.

3. A/P Coding - Responsible for flow of invoices scanned, coded, and approved to accounting software.Deployment of department check books.

4. Month End Closing - Work directly with department heads and hotel Controller to get all informationrequired to produce preliminary financials by the 4th of the month. Prepare accruals for month end. Assist withbalance sheet reconciliations and guest ledger reconciliations.

5. A/R Billings, Payments and Collections - Work directly with department managers to ensure bills areaccurate, timely, collected in 30 days, and applied appropriately.

6. Payroll and Labor Reporting - Ensure time and attendance software is operational and staff are clocking inand out properly. Follow up with managers if punch edits are required and properly documented. Produce amonth end payroll accrual.

7. Daily Mail - Ensure mail is being picked up by property and invoices/payments/notices are being reviewedand distributed by management.

8. Tenant Payments - Ensure tenants are paying rent (and invoiced if appropriate) on time and checks arebeing deposited into the bank.

9. State Unemployment and Workers Compensation Returns - Prepare and remit quarterly returns to theState of Wyoming.

10. Human Resources - work directly with Executive Hotel Administrator to ensure the smooth facilitation ofhuman resources including benefit administration, on boarding, and relevant functions.

11. Other - any other duties assigned by hotel or corporate management.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience. Experience: One year in an accounting position or related work. Previous hotel experience preferred. Other skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word. Must be able to work well with others and be detail oriented. On-going education and development: Pursuit of accounting and business classes are encouraged. Willingness to pursue a strong command of core accounting principles and accountant skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time Ability to lift 30 lbs.
