We’re looking for an experienced social media guru to join our team! Our different approach to healthcare has helped tens of thousands of patients restore their health and improve their quality of life, and our Social Media Specialist will help us continue to broaden our impact and reach.

In this role your main responsibility will be overseeing one or more social media accounts for our brand, intentionally striving to generate excitement and engagement with our audience. You’ll project the voice of The Wellness Way across our social media channels, executing social media posting schedules, replying kindly and professionally to comments, and driving online conversations. At The Wellness Way, collaboration is in our DNA. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate creatively with other wellness-minded professionals to grow our online audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately drive more people to our clinics.

In this role you should understand the targeted audience for each social channel, creating persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience and is unique to the typical interactions of each channel. Our Social Media Coordinator will provide you with vision for the direction of content, as well as the content calendar. Our graphics, video, and writing departments will provide content elements. Your job will then be posting it with engaging commentary and calls to action, working your magic to build superior customer interaction and relationships, website traffic, and revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company social media pages and profiles
  • Invite people who engage and like posts to follow the page
  • Respond with engaging commentary to those who comment on posts in a timely fashion (within the hour)
  • Be up-to-date on best social media practices and research new social media strategies and trends
  • Assist in creating and implementing social media calendars
  • Alert leadership of negative events and assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications when possible
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily with high volume (original text, images, video, and HTML)
  • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialogue and messaging
  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
  • Using analytical tools such as Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions and increase reach
  • Periodically attend ADP (A Different Perspective) on Saturday mornings, like the comments, and interact with the community who's watching
  • Performing other duties as assigned

  • You have great interpersonal relationship skills (people love you!) and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • You have a demonstrated history of social media management.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective
  • Participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • You are a natural at effectively communicating information and ideas in written and video format.
  • You possess good technical understanding and have an ability to pick up new tools quickly.
  • You have a history of demonstrating social customer service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
  • You are comfortable interpreting social media KPIs and get excited about analytics.
  • You can handle ambiguity and work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
