Job Summary:

The Web Guys seeks a full-time Graphic Designer to join our growing digital marketing firm. If you are an experienced designer with creative marketing abilities, this is the position for you! The preferred candidate has a design and marketing background, a bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, or related field, and a minimum of two years professional experience.

As a Graphic Designer at The Web Guys, youll work on behalf of our clients to create partnerships that improve their online presence with a continuous improvement ideology. This creative position requires a keen eye for details, design, and composition as well as an imaginative mind driven to develop and maintain your specialty knowledge and skill set. A disciplined, conscientious, hands-on approach is central to this role with an emphasis on marketing and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be particularly concerned with the quality of their work with strong attention to developing creative solutions/products to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create packaging and marketing material
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative materials
• Confer with clients and internal leadership to discuss and determine layout design
• Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
• Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discuss with clients or supervisors, and make necessary changes
• Design images for websites and email marketing campaigns
• Adapt to design & advertising tactics with knowledge of the latest in design trends and new industry software to remain relevant in this competitive industry
• Bring well thought-out ideas to management to improve existing processes
• Look at situations as a marketer to identify areas of opportunity and improvement
• Set personal and team goals with a work ethic to meet or exceed them
• Prioritize multiple projects with differing timelines simultaneously through to completion
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer or a related field
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical and intellectual task-based focus with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Confident and articulate customer-centric communicator with excellent oral and written skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must.
• Basic experience with CSS, HTML, and WordPress are a plus.
