Managing Director - The Wauwinet, Relais and Chateaux Proerty

White Elephant Resorts is now accepting applications for the position of Managing Director of The Wauwinet Inn. This position is ultimately responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the property to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Tasked with the responsibility for both short and long term planning, as well as managing day-to-day operations, the right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as General Manager/Managing Director or 8 + years in a Senior Management role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:

• Maximize revenues and motivate employees to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to hotel guests
• Implement company programs and supervise the daily operations of hotel to comply with company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental regulations, and all other Federal, State and local laws and regulations to limit liabilities
• Manage the financial success of the property
• Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments throughout the company

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
