Behavior Therapist (School based ABA)

The Titus School is a brand new, 12 month educational program for children with special needs ages 5.0 and up. We are a multidisciplinary setting that provides Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Counseling to offer a comprehensive learning environment for children with a variety of diagnoses. We are looking for Teacher Assistants with ABA experience to join our growing team immediately.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Provide instructional and behavioral management support to students with disabilities
- Proactively share responsibility for implementation of academic, social and life skills lessons in small group, large group and individually under the supervision of the teacher
- Collect student data and analyze data under guidance of classroom teacher
- Assist teachers in completing administrative paperwork
- Work with students with disabilities, provide assistance to stay on task, maintain order and discipline while in the classroom, hallways, lunch room and shared spaces
- Effectively communicate with parents, staff and administration
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a Bachelors degree in Education or related field
CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED:
ABA experience
RBT Trained
Experience with Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
