STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overseeing all Information Technology business activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of IT position requires very strong project and people management skills. This individual must be technically adept in software development practices with demonstrable experience building and managing data projects and data integrations. This role is responsible for providing leadership for information technology initiatives that align with the business objectives of the company.

The Director of IT works throughout the organization with decision makers in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost effective technology solutions for corporate and brick and mortar facility needs. The Director of IT must stay current of the most up-to-date methods and technologies in the IT industry, have the ability to manage a technical staff, and work within a budget. The Director of IT will possess skills in enterprise software, architecture & development, project management, vendor management and have negotiations experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Architect and oversee the development of an enterprise-wide data warehouse platform that will integrate various proprietary and external software platforms
  • Communicate closely with management, external vendors, and advisors
  • Deliver IT services in line with business requirements internally and ensure hardware/software/solutions meet baseline compliance and implementation standards
  • Accountability for overall provision of end-to-end IT services across the organization
  • Assess, make recommendations, and develop an appropriate IT service's organizational structure to support the IT needs of the corporate office and facilities
  • Establish goals, objectives and operating procedures to maintain the highest level of service to our facilities
  • Identify opportunities for appropriate and cost-effective investments in IT systems and resources including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, hardware and software lifecycle planning, staff augmentation, and changes necessary to support a growing facility's footprint
  • Develop, track and control the IT services annual operating and capital budgets
  • Work with facilities and other corporate departments to define business and systems requirements for new and existing technology implementation
  • Review hardware and software acquisition, life cycles, maintenance contracts, and master agreements for all IT related services
  • Analyze data trends and metrics
  • Manage projects as assigned
  • Administrate Office 365 Platform throughout the organization
  • Administrate communications systems and platforms throughout the organization

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience developing enterprise level software data platforms that integrate proprietary and external platforms into a centralized data warehouse
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in IT management and software management
  • Experience in POS and Inventory Management software
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to IT and data management compliance
  • Must be able to multi-task & troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Strong critical thinking & decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills & strong ability to prioritize
  • Positive, driven, & confident; will always represent the company professionally
  • Ability to self-motivate while operating effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Cloud management experience
  • Office 365 Platform experience preferred
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment preferred (brick & mortar operations)

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Working environment is fast paced
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. infrequently
  • Limited exposure to physical risk

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel will be infrequent
