Sunday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field, plus one year of supervised work experience in the field of Addictions and Mental Health preferred. Must have CADC or LPC (LCPC/LCSW preferred) and a thorough knowledge of Substance Abuse and co-occurring disorders and its application to patient care is required. Ability to complete a quick and accurate differential assessment of mental health and substance abuse conditions required. Must have experience with evidence based modalities for treating co-occurring illness. Experience with Electronic Health Records a plus. Must have valid driver’s license and minimal auto insurance.
Good organizational skills, ability to use logical thinking to solve problems. Good short-term memory, verbal communication skills, ability to provide and follow effective written and verbal instructions. Good documentation skills required. Ability to effectively monitor and develop subordinates when applicable. Ability to successfully complete training and perform C.P.R. Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force on an occasional basis. Sitting, standing, walking short distances and climbing stairs are activities that the Dual Diagnosis Specialist must perform.
