Restaurant Server (Breakfast/Lunch)

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Restaurant Server for The Sound Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Seattle, WA.

We are expanding our hours and we are looking for a friendly person that has a passion to serve others! A Server's friendly smile and cheerful customer service attitude sets the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. If you are an early riser, enjoy engaging with others and have a high sense of responsibility – this role is perfect for you! Shifts can range from: 6:30am-11am/12pm, 10am-2pm/3pm.

Pay for this position is $19-$20/hr depending on experience plus tips

What you will be doing
Cheerfully serve our guests in the restaurant by taking food orders and additional follow up | Maintain a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items, correct plate presentation, and temperature controls | Ensure guests receive prompt attention, have their orders promptly prepared and served, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.

The ideal candidate for this position
Possess strong verbal communication and listening skills | Demonstrates a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers | Possess a good memory for multiple and sometimes complicated orders | Maintain stamina for long busy days on your feet | At least three (3) years of previous restaurant serving experience preferred & weekend availability is needed | This position involves continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, using stairs and moving up to 25-30 pounds.
