Job Scope

The Digital Shelf Manager - Configuration Analyst’s (DSM-CA) main purpose is to ensure that the client receives comprehensive software and technological support across all internal and external digital content management platforms. Additionally, the DSM-CA provides client support to ensure product information and digital assets are completely and accurately represented across all identified eCommerce channels in which their products are sold.

This dual-role works closely with key stakeholders on the client-side including: Content Managers, Merchandisers, Sales Planners, Operations, and Information Technology teams to ensure that their brand image and main communication messages are established and thoroughly maintained. The Digital Shelf Manager - Configuration Analyst reports directly to the Senior Director of eCommerce and Design.


Principal Accountabilities

Manage third-party eCommerce resources (i.e. Salsify, Profitero, etc.) as defined by client

Work with client-side users and team leads to identify needs and resolve configuration issues

Create new platform environments, connections to APIs, template exports, and internal reports

Reproduce, test, resolve, and document formula bugs, defects, and problems

Manage the process of client digital asset delivery and maintenance across identified online retailers

Phase 1 - Gather all necessary digital assets including marketing copy, package/product renders, photography, illustrations, videos, and other enhanced content from client in order to maintain, optimize, and enhance the complete digital shelf. Populate audit tracking resources with control assets.

Phase 2 - Audit online retailer’s initial landing and product detail web pages. Compare results against client control assets and digital product catalogs. Document results in audit tracking resources.

Phase 3 - Submit all updated client copy and image assets to online retailers based upon audit resource results. This includes formatting/naming digital assets and updating online retailer forms.

Phase 4 - Re-audit online retailer websites checking for the updated integration of client assets.

New Item Set-Ups – Gather/submit all necessary information for client new eCommerce item set-ups.

Collaborate with clients to gather and track details regarding product launches, packaging changes, and other relevant digital marketing initiatives

Work with client Sales and Marketing teams to understand eCommerce opportunities, needs, requirements, and timing for improvements to product digital assets

Contribute to enhancing eCommerce strategies that increase customer online shopping satisfaction

Provide administrative support for client product information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) systems

Provide eCommerce-related problem resolution support across online retailers

Optimize client product data and digital content to improve SEO among top online retailers

Facilitate routine review meetings with client to ensure objectives are being met and their digital shelves are being kept current and accurate

Leverage project management tools (i.e.,, etc.) to track project status

Create process and training documents for internal and external business use

Provide training (i.e. process, online tools, etc.) to all team members, and at times client, that ensures best-in-class support is maintained

Ensure all client charges incurred are recorded accurately and in a timely manner



Professional degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or Graphic Communications

At least 2 years of digital marketing experience preferably in eCommerce/digital shelf management

Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented

Strong verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills

The ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines

Microsoft Office experience – specifically with Excel

Experience supporting Salsify PXM platform is ideal but not required
