Department: Revolution Hawaii
Position Title: Homelani Campus Administrative Aide / Female Mentor
Team Leader: Rob Noland
FLSA Status: Part time/20 hours a week

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Broad knowledge and experience with Salvation Army beliefs, practices, and programs.
Work well under pressure with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Computer proficiency required in MS Word, Excel, Email and general office procedure.
College degree or equivalent life/work experience.
Organizational and communication skills.
Must have been a Revolution Hawaii team member
JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Revolution Hawaii leadership team:
1. Homelani Campus Administrative Aid assists Team Leader / Associate Team Leader with daily administration of Campus Homelani. Specifically focuses on campus business, finance and office management.
2. Rental Groups Support. Manage the rental calendar, handle the invoices and contracts. Manage the vacation rentals.
3. Revolution Hawaii Female Mentor. Discipline, teaching and counseling as needed. Coordinates with Lead Female Mentor to ensure uniformity overall.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RevHI/Homelani Administrative Aide
Maintain campus office.
In consultation with team leaders, assists in preparing budget and monitors income and expenditures.
Coordinates all financial transactions with the Divisional Finance Department: Payroll, Bank deposits, Petty Cash Fund, Invoices, and other related financial transactions
Statistics, mileage logs, etc.
Filing and Correspondence.
Travel arrangements.
Rental Groups Support
Process group rental contracts through DFC.
Manage campus rental calander.
Invoice Groups
Vacation Rentals
Other duties as determined.
Revolution Hawaii Female Mentor
In concert with the Lead Female Mentor:
Interviewing girls during application process, follow up on references, etc.
Teaching and leading prayer times.
Handle's discipline issues with females.
Mentor's female students.
Accountability Structure
The Team Approach: The team concept lends itself to a horizontal rather than a hierarchical structure. Revolution Hawaii is a partnership between USA Western Territorial Headquarters and the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division. Duties of the AA are coordinated
within this team structure as delegated by the TL and ATL.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs other duties as assigned, considering the fluidity and changing conditions of this work in progress.

The position requires sitting; climbing and/or balancing; stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, crouching and/or crawling; standing; walking; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; use of vision; driving a vehicle; pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying 25-50
pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds; traveling by airplane.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
The position requires talking to co-workers, clients, vendors; requires written communication to and from co-workers, clients, vendor; talking on the telephones; requires responding to written or verbal requests of co-workers, clients, and vendors; requires
training/giving verbal and written instructions; requires receiving verbal and written instructions; requires writing/composing written language; requires reading; requires visiting/working at other worksites; requires communication via the latest technologies
SKILLS/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent life/work experience
Valid Hawaii driver's license
Computer, Word Processing, etc. skills
EQUIPMENT NEEDS:
Use office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, scanners, calculators, etc.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Homelani Campus and urban mission areas of Honolulu as required.
