Job Title: Production Manager (Nonwoven)
Location: near Charlottesville, VA
Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000

Establish and lead plant safety objectives and ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures.
Interact regularly with Operations and production employees to provide direction and leadership.
Maintain ISO compliant manufacturing records.
Conduct daily operations meetings and periodic plant communications meetings to
ensure budget and financial forecasts are developed and met.
Partner with the Supply Chain function to ensure timely, effective and efficient
procurement, planning, inventory levels and delivery of finished goods.
Responsible for driving the full implementation of cost improvement programs to
consistently maintain a cost competitive edge in the manufacturing of products.
Initiate plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization
of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital.
Manage spending against budget and in relation to production volume
Prepare and present annual budget to senior management.
Direct or support the effective implementation of investment projects approved for
capacity or facility expansion and upgrades
Supervise/manage direct reports (including decision-making for hiring, promotion and
May lead or participate in regional or global projects
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
3-5 years minimum in a leadership role in manufacturing textiles, extrusion or paper
Six Sigma green or black belt preferred
