We are seeking a Client Happiness Specialist (Legal Assistant) to be part of our team. Ideal candidates will have great attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The best candidates will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a bias for action. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of prior administrative office assistant experience.
Job Description: You will work under the general supervision of paralegal(s) / attorney(s) in support of their business needs. Duties include answering client phone calls, general inquiry intakes, greeting clients and other visitors to our offices by providing a V.I.P experience for each and every person, leading our team in elevating the client’s experience and overall satisfaction. Additional duties include scheduling, filing, document organization, and other administrative/clerical tasks that require no substantive knowledge of matter or litigation.
Responsibilities Include: Customer service, taking payments, working within multiple technology platforms, and direct administrative work on legal cases. You will work within a team approach to service our client's needs as well as the business needs of the firm. You will be the face of the firm that greets clients.
Experience: No prior legal experience is required. However, a top candidate will possess the following characteristics: cheerful, attentive to detail, self-reliant, poised, systematic and enjoy working in a team environment.
Skills: Applicant should have exceptional phone and in-person people skills, a basic understanding of cloud-based applications (i.e. google calendar, google drive, Box,etc.), and be comfortable working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Slack, and Adobe PDF. Additionally, applicant should be self-reliant and able to manage their own tasks and deliver work assignments in prescribed time frames.
