Job Description
Press Brake Operator
A family-owned and operated company that specializes in enduring and custom commercial and retail display fixtures, located in Shelby, NC is seeking experienced press brake operators.
If you are a self-motivated, results driven individual looking to work for a company that produces quality casework and architectural woodwork for clients in the healthcare, education, restaurant, and hospitality industries, we want to talk with you about this opportunity!
What a typical day will look like – you will be bending metal parts per customer spec repetitively. A typical day consists of the same part and bends, with an expectation of 60 parts per hour or between 480-600 parts per day during your 10 hour shift.
Shift Hours:
- 3:15PM to 1:45AM Monday through Thursday, overtime offered on Friday on a voluntary basis, OT is offered weekly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Layout and load materials using measuring tools
- Perform part inspections and quality checks
- Perform Tool changes
- Communicate any issues that may prevent production flow
- Maintain clean work area
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to check height, depth, and thickness using quality control tools
- Understanding of finished part characteristics
