Job Description

Mechanic
We are partnered with a leader in turbine services. They need a Mechanic. As a Mechanic you will primarily disassemble, repair and re-assemble gas turbines to meet customer requirements and support other component repairs in the shop.
Direct Hire
Salary $30.-$40 hr. DOE
Monday – Friday, 1st Shift.
What You Will Do:
- Review Technical documents and disassemble and repair and assemble gas turbine engines, which may include re-reneging for assembly.
- Repair and fabricate gas turbine engine parts and tools by sanding, grit blasting, deburring ends of sheared or sawed stock, blending, and routing welds, removing honeycombs, brazing, and cleaning parts.
- Maintain accurate documentation on travelers and records.
- Use gauges and tools to determine specified tolerances are maintained and observed.
- Ensure all quality assurance policies and procedures are used and followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You will need:
- Strong knowledge and ability to read schematics, documentation, and other technical documents.
- 3-5 years’ experience with gas turbines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills
