About the Role - Who You'll Work With

The TPG People Services Coordinator will demonstrate the ability to support and actively contribute to the People Services Department. This role will provide administrative support to the people service function as needed, including reporting, training administration/maintenance, and HRIS entry, as needed.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as administrative PS support to geographically dispersed staff.
  • Completes Form I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists, maintains, and tracks company-wide training.
  • Develop strong working relationships and partner with other members of the Corporate PS team and other corporate infrastructure departments to provide seamless PS support.
  • Provide timely support for critical issues and PS emergencies, as needed.
  • Maintain a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices.
  • Lead and/or contribute to organization-wide PS projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Handle day to day PS administrative tasks, including maintaining HRIS records, processing employee changes and generating reports.
  • Prepare and distribute PS related documents, such as offer letters, employment verifications, contracts, and policies.
  • Essential to responding to ticket inquiries through the Help Desk in a timely manner for PS related items.
  • Facilitates onboarding of all new hires and works with hiring managers to build out itineraries for corporate staff.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure PS policies and practices comply with applicable laws.
  • Assist in the preparation of PS related compliance reports.
  • Duties are performed via a government approved computer system. Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice - management reserves the right to revise these duties as necessary.


Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-2 years of PS experience
  • Basic level knowledge of Federal regulations, labor legislation, and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment, manage multiple competing demands, and provide strong consultative services
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Expert at communicating effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ingenuity with the ability to effectively achieve organizational established goals and objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-service oriented and collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication written and verbal skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with other staff to come to meaningful solutions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams
  • Ability to type 45 wpm


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in HR-related field preferred
  • SCA experience
  • Puerto Rico employment law
  • Workday experience


Work Environment

This is a remote opportunity where occasional travel could be required. Since this is a remote role, you must have a dedicated workspace conducive to full videoconferencing (camera and audio) for facilitating webinars and online discussions.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, but hours could vary depending on needs. May include travel, evenings, and weekends to meet different time zones and projects.

Conditions of employment:
  • Complete a rigorous culture and competency testing process
  • Complete a Drug Test
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • A valid US Driver's license
  • Have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance


Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.
  • Physical Demands
  • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 10% of the time.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10% of the time.
  • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
  • Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
