Quality Engineer (With automotive exp) for Multiple Cities (Remote)

Seeking Quality Engineers or IE's with Automotive Experience

Automotive assembly experience is required for these positions.

Our company is doing a large QE engineering project for a major automotive manufacturer. We are hiring for multiple positions. This is a full time project (3 months) that has the potential to be extended. Our automotive OEM client will be offering permanent full time jobs to the top performers.

We have openings in Kansas city, MO, Louisville, KY, Chicago, IL and Cleveland, OH.

Experience analyzing workstations and implementing corrective actions

Review/validate baselines provided

Review QLS data to identify top issues affecting performance gap

Review repair data for top items being repaired

Map all issues to workstations

Improve performance related issues by improving workstations. If issues remain, perform design analysis to determine root causes (note: these issues usually take more time to solve and may require plant management resources to resolve).

Update control plan to deliver zero defects.

Periodic job observations

Drive continuous improvement in quality by implementing corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tools and problem solving methodology

Review internal/external suppliers

Manage and direct statistical process control activities

Pareto experience is a plus.

Software QA tester experience would not be an ideal fit for this role.

There has the potential to be overtime in this role.
