Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing Human Resources (HR) Team. Based in Los Angeles, this highly visible role aims to provide strategic partnership and consultation to The Pop Up Inc. Marketing Team. This role will report to the Head of HR, The Pop Up Inc.

 

Essential Functions of the Role: The Director of HR is responsible for proactively supporting all aspects of strategic and tactical HR aspects of the company by leading and driving the company’s people agenda. The main purpose of the role is to build and align organizational and people capabilities with the business strategy and needs; to maximize leadership; build a scalable capability that enables growth; promote employee experience and organizational climate aimed to attract, develop and retain talent for the organization.

The HR Director will be accountable for all HR aspects, from hire to retire such as: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, career development and coaching, organizational development; talent management; policies/processes development etc.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and executed HR agenda and strategy of the company to meet the business needs
  • HR Business Partner to the General Manager and company management team members of the various departments
  • Leading the HR department
  • Ownership and accountability for all end to end HR aspects, from hire to retire, such as recruitment, employer branding, relocations, employee relations, performance management, career development and coaching, talent management and change management, learning and training, policies/processes development
  • Assess ongoing organizational & people implications and implement the needed HR approaches and actions
  • Manages the planning, development, implementation, and administration for a broad range of HR policies and programs including but not limited to: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and labor relations.
  • Lead organizational development activities to develop and enhance current organizational capabilities.
