The Phillip Charles Group is currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a large insurance company in Troy, MI. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for inputting claim information and verifying accuracy of data. Handling occasional inbound and outbound phone calls as necessary pertaining to property insurance questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions regarding recent loss to home and property due to fire, flood or a weather-related incident. Data Entry Clerk will be provided a series of tests to assess speed and accuracy of data entry, along with proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience with insurance claims is a plus!
Pay Rate for the Data Entry Clerk is $15.00per hour. The hours will range from 8:00a.m to 6:00p.m, Monday through Friday. This is a temporary to direct hire opportunity.
Data Entry Clerk Job Duties:
- Typing claim information
- Monitor and respond to incoming voicemails
- Review documents for completeness and data accuracy
- Outbound phone calls as needed
- Review own work for accuracy
Data Entry Clerk Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous insurance claims is a plus
- Microsoft Office Skills, Intermediate Excel
- Strong analytical skills
