Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Effectively presents the company's products and services and is able to overcome barriers to closing the sale.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide solutions to customers’ needs in a win-win fashion.
  • Adequately responds to a variety of requests from customers in a timely fashion. Such as sales and marketing assistance, pricing recommendations, etc.
  • Is a resource of ideas to distribution partners on how to promote and sell assigned product lines.
  • Achieving the business objectives in sales & margin through customer engagement
  • Managing new account pipeline through CRM
  • Reporting pipeline and sales performance relative to budget on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain margin requirements set by Account Manager.
  • Identify key decision makers at strategic distribution and end-user accounts.
  • Become the main point of contact and liaison for customers in order to support maintaining our existing business(as defined)

Daily Activities:

  • Interact with CS to ensure accuracy and timely response to customers' orders
  • Reach out to strategic customers in order to increase market share/leverage product offering
  • Load new account information in CRM
  • Feed new lead information to appropriate field sales team(s) on equipment-based items
  • Support coordination of logistics for strategic customers.

Weekly Activities:

  • Same as Daily activities
  • Schedule new account visits for the following two weeks (set appointment)
  • Finalize CRM activity for the prior week.

Monthly Activities:

  • Run sales and margin reports to determine variances. Report informaiton to AM.
  • Address and understand negative variances through interaction with PPS and AM
  • Load new account information in CRM
  • Feed new lead information to appropriate field sales team(s)
  • Submit monthly reporting (where requested) to key strategic accounts.

Quarterly Activities:

  • Submit quarterly reports to the direct supervisor as requested.
  • Visit strategic accounts where appropriate.
  • Load new account information in CRM
  • Feed new lead information to appropriate field sales team(s)

Competencies:

  • PC literate with working knowledge of SAP, including familiarity with MS office programs.
  • Written and verbal language skills to support communication with staff and customers
  • Must prioritize and handle multiple tasks as they arise.
  • Must be detailed oriented, results-driven and have the ability to analyze and problem-solve.
  • Must represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Able to establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with PPS - equipment sales team
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills.
  • Must have well-developed presentation skills

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move throughout the company and customer facilities and interact with employees in their work environments.
  • Able to travel by Private or public transportation to off-site locations
  • Must be able to process information by PC, telephone, fax, and copy machine
  • There will be 30-40% travel in the beginning until they are settled.
  • 3 weeks of training in Long Valley and part of that training is how to estimate the project too.

Salary: 85-125K base salary plus commission depending on experience.
