The Oakleaf Group is a mortgage and financial services consulting firm with expertise in risk management and financial modeling for the mortgage and banking industries. Our clients are banks and non-bank mortgage firms, government agencies, law firms, insurance companies, institutional asset managers and hedge funds.

For a large financial services client, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst.


  • Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies are required.
  • 2+ years experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
  • Experience gathering requirements and managing scope/features for business applications.
  • Ability to develop a solid working knowledge of the data, models & applications.
  • Understanding of SDLC process and deliverables/agile methodology.
  • Strong communication skills are required. Ability to communicate clearly across a diverse audience with varying levels of business, technical, modeling and governance expertise.
  • Ability to clearly lay out objectives, deliver on commitments, and coordinate analytics with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and counterparts across the organization.
  • Basic understanding of modeling, economics and accounting.


  • Exposure to AWS or other cloud technologies are required.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Ability to write code in SQL.
  • Experience/education in financial theory, credit risk, market risk, or mortgage finance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • No employment sponsorship available.

Compensation will be based on the candidate's skills and experience. Oakleaf offers health care benefits and other benefits in accordance with applicable Federal or State law.
